CFD Research Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead a multidisciplinary team in building advanced tools that analyze, reduce, and visualize simulation data for missile defense. You will drive PTA architecture, guide agile software delivery, and collaborate with customer leadership to accelerate test-case generation and data validation for formal test events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong programming in Python, MATLAB and C++ with multi-language architecture experience.
• Experience in OO design, software architecture, and system design.
• Proficiency with enterprise version control, CI/CD workflows, and Git management.
• Ability to lead trade studies and present architectural recommendations to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead trade studies to evaluate PTA tools and define CONOPs, test procedures and data validation standards.
• Drive backlog prioritization and architecture in Jira; implement and review complex PTA codebases for test automation.
• Architect automated input generation frameworks to boost test-case speed, scale and efficiency.
• Lead progress demos, enforce code quality, and author guides on analysis best practices.
