Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design, development, testing, and deployment of mission-critical software in a SAFe Agile environment. You will mentor engineers, drive DevSecOps automation, and design scalable microservices while ensuring security and performance.

The role requires 10+ years in software development, a CS/Engineering degree, and active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph eligibility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent substitution).
• Expert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, Go, etc.).
• Deep understanding of microservices, containerization, and orchestration.
• Extensive experience with DevSecOps practices and toolchains.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles.
• Experience with distributed systems and message queuing (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency in database technologies (PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Must be U.S. citizen.
• Must be located in NCR or San Antonio area.

• Support third-party code reviews and security assessments
