Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy complex software for mission-critical offensive cyber operations. You will apply SAFe Agile methods to deliver scalable, secure applications and work in cross-functional teams across the software lifecycle. Requirements include 7+ years of software development, a CS-related degree, and proficiency in Python, Java, Go or JavaScript/TypeScript.

Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD is essential. You must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent substitution).
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Must be U.S. citizen
• Must be located in NCR or San Antonio area

Responsibilities

• Develop software features according to user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Implement automated unit and integration tests (80% coverage minimum).
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming.
• Support DevSecOps pipeline implementation and maintenance.
• Develop microservices using containerization technologies.
• Integrate with Government platform services and APIs.
• Participate in all team-level SAFe ceremonies.
• Support troubleshooting and production issue resolution.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge transfer.
