Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Senior Test Engineer/QA to lead automated testing strategy for complex software systems. You will design robust frameworks, build automated suites, and drive performance testing across containerized microservices in a DevSecOps environment. A TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

The role emphasizes TDD/BDD practices, strong programming skills (Python/Java), and close collaboration with CI/CD pipelines to ensure Definition of Done before deployment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of software testing and QA experience.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.)
• Experience testing containerized applications and microservices
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps
• Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing frameworks
• Develop and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Conduct system performance and scalability testing
• Lead test-driven development (TDD) practices
• Create and maintain requirements traceability matrix
• Conduct black box and white box testing
• Implement continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines
• Generate and analyze test coverage reports
• Lead defect tracking and resolution processes
• Support third-party code review preparations
