Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy complex software systems for mission-critical offensive cyber operations. You will work in cross-functional teams following SAFe Agile practices to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Requirements include 7+ years of software development, a BS in CS/Engineering (or equivalent), proficiency in Python/Java/Go/JS/TS, expertise in microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, DevSecOps, TDD, REST, and Linux.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent substitution).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Develop software features according to user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and tests.
• Implement automated unit and integration tests (80% coverage minimum).
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming.
• Support DevSecOps pipeline and microservices deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and SAFe ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to technical docs.
