Job summary

Celestial Oncology Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to a novel robotic radiotherapy system and its treatment planning software in Santa Monica.

You will develop, test, and document software for UI, controls, clinical data processing, and inter-device communications. The role involves working with cross-functional teams, supporting verification testing, and contributing to FDA 510(k) submission readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS/CE with at least 3 years in medical device software development.
• Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills required.
• Experience in client/server architecture and UI development.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485/14971 and FDA-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test software for a robotic radiation therapy system and treatment planning software.
• Design, debug, and analyze software for UI, controls, data processing, and inter-device communication.
• Perform development and testing per specifications and test plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage design changes ahead of implementation.
• Support system verification testing and aid FDA 510(k) submission documentation.
