Job summary

RealTruck is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (Manhattan ACTIVE) to spearhead logistics software development. The role leads cross-functional and international teams, designs scalable systems, and collaborates with ELT, product managers, and engineers to deliver robust software solutions.

The position requires 9+ years in IT for manufacturing operations, hands-on MAWM architecture, and strong testing/QA practice. On-site role with travel; extensive documentation and mentoring are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree related to information technology, MIS, and/or supply chain management; master’s preferred.
• 9+ years of experience in IT supporting manufacturing operations.
• Experience with Manhattan Active required.
• Architecture & Design: scalable cloud-native designs aligned with MAWM’s microservices architecture.
• SCI reporting skills to interpret warehouse performance metrics.
• Warehouse process knowledge.
• Ability to collaborate across IT and operations; training and change management skills.
• Deep knowledge of warehouse workflows: receiving, put-away, wave planning, picking, shipping.

• Lead design and architecture of complex software systems for scalability and performance.
• Lead cross-functional and international teams.
• Collaborate with ELT, product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver cohesive software solutions.
• Analyze and solve complex technical problems aligned with project goals.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders; write high-quality requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior team members and drive testing strategies across the team.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and improve development processes.
