You will own feature development for existing systems and new capabilities, partnering with senior engineers to deliver scalable solutions that power our regulated laboratory operations. Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python or Java.
• Proven experience building and deploying applications on AWS.
• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and developing REST APIs.
• Experience with version control systems (Github, Bitbucket) and CI/CD concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software systems and features supporting laboratory operations.
• Develop and optimize backend services and APIs using Python and/or Java.
• Implement solutions using relational and graph databases.
• Take ownership of deploying and maintaining services in our AWS cloud environment.
• Actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation.
