Job summary

Affirm is seeking a senior backend engineer to build and scale data platforms for real-time loan origination and reporting. You will guide engineers through ambiguity, drive quarterly objectives, and promote a culture of quality and ownership across teams.

You will work with a modern tech stack, including Python or Kotlin, and collaborate across product, data, and platform teams to deliver robust, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years of experience in backend systems using Python or Kotlin.
• Experience with distributed systems and data pipelines is required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent practical experience.
