Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead architectural design and end-to-end delivery for core platform initiatives. You will collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Security to set technical direction, design scalable microservices, and drive performance, observability, and reliability improvements.

You will mentor engineers across levels to strengthen the team’s culture and capabilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building and scaling distributed systems.
• Expertise in system design and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven track record leading major technical projects from inception to launch.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural design and end-to-end delivery for key systems or migrations.
• Partner with Product, Infrastructure, and Security to set technical direction.
• Design scalable microservices and guide system decomposition initiatives.
• Drive performance optimization, observability, and reliability improvements.
• Mentor engineers at multiple levels and elevate team culture.
