Job summary

Assembly, Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer to report to the CTO and lead complex technical projects within the engineering and product teams.

You will mentor juniors, shape the engineering roadmap, and help define the engineering culture while following security best practices. You'll design and build full-stack features for our web platform, oversee libraries and the design system, and own responsibilities from architecture to testing.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working on complex web applications.
• Proven track record as a lead developer.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack features for the web platform.
• Scale and enhance the flagship product and oversee libraries and design system architecture.
• Write technical documentation, set up infrastructure, and organize engineering tasks.
• Shape the engineering roadmap and contribute to engineering culture.
• Improve processes, participate in interview processes, and help recruit engineers.
• Follow security best practices and protect customer data.
