OVO Energy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own end‑to‑end development of core systems and lead technical initiatives. You’ll mentor engineers to raise the team's capabilities and drive scalable, high‑quality software across microservices and frontend layers.

You’ll work in a hybrid hub setup (Bristol/Glasgow/London) with a 58k–90k salary band, a 15% on‑target bonus, and 9% Flex Pay on top of your salary to support flexible benefits and pensions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software development in an agile environment with a track record of delivering quality code.
• Experience designing scalable microservices and systems using Node.js, Python, and TypeScript.
• Proficiency with frontend React technologies and modern DevOps practices.
