Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Core Experiences Team. You will help build and maintain foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify’s product experience across platforms.

You’ll collaborate with product teams to scope projects, design scalable systems, and ship backend services using Kotlin in a fast-growing, remote environment. Strong systems thinking and collaboration with designers, PMs, and marketers are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable systems end-to-end to improve user experience.
• Ability to ship features quickly while maintaining quality and reliability.
• Strong collaborative skills across product, design, and PMs.
• Familiarity with cross-platform SDKs and cloud-based services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product teams to scope projects and deliver cross-platform SDK enhancements.
• Optimize functionality for faster loading and smarter parsing through better abstractions.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
