Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Core Experiences Team. You’ll design and maintain the foundational services and SDKs powering Speechify’s product across platforms.

Collaborate with product teams, optimize performance, and ship cloud functions and Kotlin Multiplatform backend services. GCP experience is a plus; this role rewards systems thinking, speed, focus, and strong collaboration with designers, PMs, and marketers.

Qualifications

• Systems thinking and end-to-end design focus.
• Ability to move quickly and decide what can ship now.
• Strong collaboration with designers, PMs, and marketers.
• Proficiency with Kotlin Multiplatform and cloud services (GCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects and deliver cross-platform SDK solutions.
• Optimize functionality to ship faster load times and smarter parsing.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and Kotlin-based jobs.
