Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Experiences Team. This role builds foundational services and SDKs powering Speechify’s product experience across platforms, bridging product and infrastructure to design clear, reliable APIs.

You’ll collaborate with product teams, optimize performance, and ship Kotlin-based backend services and cloud functions. Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and GCP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Systems thinking and end-to-end design are essential
• Ability to move quickly and decide what to ship now
• Work in a high-growth, remote team and collaborate with cross-functional partners
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, PMs and engineers to ship cross-platform SDKs
• Kotlin Multiplatform is preferred; Java experience acceptable
