Job summary

Gravitee is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to design and deliver features end to end, from discovery and design through implementation, testing, release, and iteration. You will build responsive interfaces with TypeScript and Angular, and design Java-based APIs and services, contributing to the gateway runtime with async, non-blocking patterns.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and leaders to review code, validate AI-assisted work, and strengthen reliable delivery

Qualifications

5+ years building and operating full-stack production apps.
Strong Java experience and REST API design.
Strong TypeScript frontend experience with a component-based framework.
Experience building data-rich user interfaces.
Understanding of API design, distributed systems, and asynchronous workflows.
Experience with automated testing, Git-based development, code review, and iterative delivery.
Experience with MongoDB or relational databases.
Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
Hands-on with LLMs or AI coding assistants in engineering workflows.
Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect security.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Significant experience building and operating full-stack applications in a production environment; typically five or more years for this level
Strong Java experience and experience designing maintainable REST APIs and backend services
Strong TypeScript and modern frontend development experience using a component-based framework
Experience building data-rich user interfaces and visualizations
Solid understanding of API design, data modeling, distributed systems, and asynchronous workflows
Experience with automated testing, Git-based development, code review, and iterative product delivery
Experience with persistent data stores such as MongoDB or relational databases
Experience with search or analytics technologies such as Elasticsearch or OpenSearch
Hands-on experience using LLMs or AI coding assistants in an engineering workflow
Judgment to review and improve AI-generated outputClear communication, collaborative problem-solving, and ability to take an ambiguous problem through to production
Angular or another modern component-based frontend framework
Asynchronous and non-blocking Java development using Vert.x, RxJava, Netty, or comparable reactive technologies
