Qualifications

• Experience leading effective use of AI-assisted software development tools with the ability to set team expectations for AI outputs.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and security considerations.
• Security and infrastructure expertise within cloud environments.
• Cloud-native development experience in AWS focused on robust solutions.
• End-to-end software design and delivery expertise.
• Experience with streaming systems such as Kafka.
• Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operations.
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
• Drives team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operations with validated standards.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve value realized by automation.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and productivity, with peer review and testing.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures constraints are met by code.
• Gathers, analyzes, and visualizes data from large datasets for continuous improvement.
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns to drive architectural improvements.
