Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CS/Software Engineering concepts and applied experience.
• 10+ years in hands-on development of large-scale distributed systems with Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Experience in system design, deployment, testing, and operations.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools with critical evaluation of outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure practices.
• Strong REST APIs and microservices experience.
• Proficiency in Spark and SQL for big data processing and optimization.
• Kubernetes experience for production services.
• Experience with AWS services and tooling including Terraform, EMR, EKS/ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3.
• Experience with log analytics/observability tools like Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions with design, development, and debugging.
• Leverages enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and speed; ensures peer review and secure coding.
• Uses SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to enhance automation value.
• Designs and deploys secure, scalable services with enterprise integration and governance.
• Develops data visualizations and reporting from large datasets to improve software products.
• Identifies data patterns to improve coding hygiene and architecture.
• Implements load balancing, autoscaling, monitoring, and alerts for performance and reliability.
• Promotes reusable patterns and standardized validation across the team.
• Mentors junior engineers and manages multiple deliverables across business groups.
• Defines guardrails for AI in production to meet quality, safety, latency and cost needs.
• Collaborates with users, SMEs, architects, DBAs, and admins to design and resolve issues.
