Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Software Engineer IV to provide architectural leadership on software development projects. The role requires independent work with limited supervision to design and develop new software or major enhancements, addressing system integration and platform feasibility.

The candidate will collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Project Management to translate design specs into production platforms, and guide teams on best practices and development standards.

Qualifications

• BS with 10+ years experience in software field or MS with 6+ years experience
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud portal and Kubernetes clusters
• Advanced proficiency with .Net, Angular, and SQL
• Demonstrated ability to lead large projects and build teams to solve complex problems

Responsibilities

• Designs, modifies, develops, and implements IT software architecture solutions.
• Effectively plans and manages assignments across multiple complex projects.
• Drives technical and procedural changes to improve software development practices.
• Champions AI-assisted development practices to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Builds teams as needed and mentors developers to find solutions
