EnergyHub is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance the Devices Platform, delivering full‑stack solutions and guiding a move from monolith to microservices. You will build scalable APIs, model data, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product teams to solve real energy management challenges.

You’ll work with React, TypeScript, and Java (11+), designing robust interfaces and services, and applying AI tools to improve delivery and code quality in a fast-growing IoT SaaS

Competenze

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience, including frontend, backend, and relational database modeling and development.
• Proficiency in React and Java (preferably Java 11+).
• Experience with web services, gRPC/RESTful APIs, and contract-driven development.
• Ability to operate independently, help provide technical vision and guide the team toward scalable solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of balancing multiple use cases while enabling flexibility.
• Proven expertise in building dynamic, responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools in development and testing to accelerate delivery and enhance code quality.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and working on challenging technical problems.

• Design and implement core platform features that solve for multiple constraints and use cases.
• Help drive the transition from a monolithic architecture to a microservices-based approach, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and improved system resilience.
• Lead technical initiatives and provide data modeling, contract definition, and API development.
• Develop front and back end solutions, ensuring well-structured, high-quality code with automated testing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, internal engineering teams, and stakeholders to drive high-impact projects.
• Work within real-world constraints to develop creative solutions that maintain platform flexibility and scalability.
• Contribute to best practices for CI/CD, data modeling, and iterative development (e.g.,PoCs, rapid prototyping, milestone-based execution).
• Mentor and support other engineers, fostering a strong technical culture of respect, open communication, and collaboration.
