The anticipated salary range is $85,000.00 to $170,000.00, based on individual qualifications, experience, and market analysis at the time of hire. Summary

We are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to develop a new banking app using Swift and SwiftUI. You will work within a small, dynamic team, supporting the development process, collaborating with product owners, engineers, and designers to create a reliable, innovative mobile application. Your role will involve shaping the app’s architecture, ensuring best coding and testing practices, and focusing on performance, security, and scalability.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and develop our mobile application following best practices
• Create reusable, maintainable components and libraries for mobile apps
• Work with the development and product teams to deliver a high-performance, user-satisfying app
• Collaborate with QA to ensure proper testing and maintenance
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Stay updated with iOS updates and adopt best practices
• Explore new technologies for current and future challenges
• Conduct research and develop proof-of-concept mobile applications
• Handle app submissions to the App Store
• Manage your own time effectively, solving problems independently and as part of a team

Position Specifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Expertise with iOS 13.0 and above, including UIKit, SwiftUI, Foundation, Core Location, Combine
• Experience with Objective-C, Swift, and Xcode
• Proficiency in designing with Storyboards, Xibs, and SwiftUI
• Experience with Auto Layout and constraints for adaptive design
• Knowledge of UI and unit testing, preferably XCTest
• Experience in banking is a plus
• Experience with iPadOS and WatchOS is a plus
• Experience with mobile persistence (SQL, Core Data)
• Strong understanding of software design, patterns, and clean architecture
• Proficiency in debugging tools and strategies
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and connecting iOS apps to services using AFNetworking, Alamofire
• Experience with app profiling using Instruments
• Experience with Agile development, application design, testing
• Knowledge of memory management using ARC
• Familiarity with Human Interface Guidelines and Accessibility tools
• Experience submitting apps to TestFlight and the App Store
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders and teams
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control (Git, SVN)
• Interest in mobile security
