Both VM products are built on kube-virt and provide well-integrated storage, networking, compute features for private and Google connected private cloud clusters.

US Salary Range: $174,000 - $252,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

• Develop virtual machines for Google Distributed Cloud (GDC), including air-gapped, connected, and software-only products, utilizing a background in distributed systems and machine virtualization technologies.
• Debug testing platform issues to run secure, stable, and demanding customer workloads.
• Build and debug a virtual machine (VM) cloud product leveraging Kubernetes, QEMU, KubeVirt, KVM, Go, C, Unix shell scripting, and Linux internals, with exposure to low-level networking, compute, storage, and GPUs.
