Job summary

Visionist, Inc. in Laurel, MD is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Inference for our largest PRIME contract. This role requires an active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph and offers a fully funded opportunity on a mission-critical program.

The position emphasizes mentorship, strong engineering leadership, and translating stakeholder goals into tangible capabilities with a diverse tech stack, collaborating with analysts and engineers on high-impact results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
• 12 years of experience in software development
• Experience with Python and/or other modern programming languages
• Experience with Argo CD and/or other CI/CD frameworks
• Experience with Kubernetes/Helm
• Experience with AWS or other cloud service providers
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor other engineers
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to balance hands-on engineering with leadership and coordination responsibilities

• Develop in-house services and techniques to guarantee continual high-quality inference service for our customer

Salary range:

$170,000 - $240,000
