Job summary

AlertMedia, the leader in risk intelligence, seeks a Sr. Software Engineer to join the Incident Response team. You will design and implement features across the full stack, ensuring reliability during emergencies and performance under heavy load.

You will work with Python, Django, Next.js, React, Node, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, applying AI-assisted tools to boost code quality and productivity in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Remote in Mexico with exposure to global engineers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building scalable web applications.
• Experience with Python/Django/React/Node stack.
• Experience with Linux containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• AWS or other cloud services required.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/Redis and other storage technologies.
• Strong unit and integration testing practices.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools across the development lifecycle.
• Ability to work across the stack with leadership to evolve architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features for the AlertMedia Incident Response product.
• Build features that perform under live emergencies and remain resilient under load.
• Learn the AlertMedia platform and how customers use it.
• Work with Python, Django, Next.js, React, Node, and other web technologies.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve development speed, quality and docs.
• Operate in an Agile environment with Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack.
• Contribute ideas to keep AlertMedia ahead of competitors through tech innovation.
• Communicate effectively with engineering and product teams across functions.
• Support culture and values while driving product success.
