Job summary

AlertMedia is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join the AI Agent and Orchestration team, building AI Assistant features and platform capabilities.

You will work across the stack with Python, Django, Next.js, React, and Node, applying modern AI tools to improve development and product quality. You will collaborate in an Agile environment, contribute to architecture evolution, and ensure robust testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 6+ years of experience building scalable web applications using Python/Django/React/Node.
• Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features (agents, tool/function calling, retrieval, evaluation).
• Familiar with agentic design patterns and frameworks (Strands, AutoGen, LangChain).
• Experience with AWS or other cloud services is required.
• PostgreSQL, Redis, and other storage tech experience.
• Strong unit and integration testing practices.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools (Claude, Codex, Cursor, etc.).
• Collaborative mindset to drive architectural evolution for critical applications.
• Strong English proficiency (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features for AI Assistant and Orchestration products.
• Add evaluation cases to catch regressions before release.
• Learn AlertMedia platform and tools for customers' use cases.
• Work with Python, Django, Next.js, React, Node and other web tech.
• Use AI-enabled tools to support development and productivity.
• Participate in Agile processes with Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Slack.
• Contribute ideas to leverage technology in product lines.
• Communicate effectively with engineering and product teams.
• Support culture and values at AlertMedia.
