Position Overview:
Bose Professional is looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer in Test with a solid foundation in Python and experience working with distributed systems test frameworks. This role will play a critical part in designing, developing, and supporting the test framework and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and support the automated test framework.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Improve systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
4. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
5. Conduct code reviews, create excellent documentation, and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
6. Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to the system.
7. Support Company objectives by completing additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Excellent Python and object-oriented design knowledge with at least 6 years of professional experience.
2. Hands-on experience in creating, enhancing, and maintaining a multi-platform automated test framework.
3. Hands-on experience in creating automated system tests for software applications controlling networked hardware devices across multiple platforms.
4. Experience using automated desktop/web GUI testing tools (Test Complete, Selenium or similar).
5. Working knowledge of both Windows OS and macOS, with the ability to perform command line operations on both.
6. Good understanding of networking concepts and VMWare (or similar) virtual machines.
7. Excellent communication and documentation skills (in English).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Audio Video or Professional-Audio domain knowledge (ideally including measurement).
2. Experience creating automated tests for mobile applications (Appium or similar).
3. Good knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and TestRail or a similar system.
4. Basic understanding of electronics and audio/video connections.
5. Working knowledge of serial/USB communication, telephony, and VoIP.
