Job summary

Fidelity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join the Workplace Investing team in Westlake, TX. You will architect and implement robust API and UI automation, using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Karate, and Rest Assured within CI/CD pipelines.

Strong Java, SQL skills and cloud experience are required to drive quality in a fast-paced environment. You will own test strategy, write reusable utilities, and collaborate closely with developers and DevOps to shorten feedback cycles and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in functional and automation testing.
• Experience in API and UI testing and test automation tooling.
• Strong Java, SQL skills and cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and BDD frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop REST API automation scripts using Java and Rest Assured.
• Develop UI automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver for cross-browser tests.
• Build and maintain BDD frameworks integrated into CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• Collaborate with QA, developers, and DevOps to ensure quality gates and shift-left testing.
• Analyze requirements, create test strategies, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
