The Senior Software Engineer at Chartspan builds and extends the Impact RPM platform — handling patient enrollment, health data processing, EHR integrations, and messaging workflows in a HIPAA-regulated production environment.

This role owns features end-to-end: design, implementation, code reviews, and troubleshooting across service boundaries, with a bias toward incremental changes and pragmatic fixes. Close collaboration with product, engineering, and UX designers is expected.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Go and ramping to it quickly.
• Exposure to Kotlin/Java (Spring) Codebases.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with React for full-stack contributions.

Responsabilidades

• Own delivery of features and bug fixes end-to-end, including design spikes.
• Participate in code reviews as a regular responsibility.
• Make trade-off decisions under real constraints and existing data schemas.
• Troubleshoot cross-service issues, not just within your code.
• Use AI-assisted tooling with prudent judgment.
• Contribute to full-stack work when needed, including frontend changes.
• Collaborate with product, engineers, and UX designers to align with business value.
