Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II for the EI-COB solution on a high-volume healthcare data platform. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate with architects and leadership to build scalable, secure software across hybrid environments.

The role emphasizes deep software architecture, performance tuning, and delivering high-quality solutions in close partnership with cross‑functional teams. Remote US option is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years' experience in Software Engineering including 2+ years as Senior Software Engineer or equivalent; strong leadership and mentorship.
• Expertise in Java, Python, frameworks, MSSQL and Oracle PL/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in a team of Software Engineers, guiding and mentoring.
• Influence technical decisions and drive architectural improvements.
• Collaborate with principal engineers, architects, and leadership to design and implement high-quality software.
