Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer II - Agentic Intelligence to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will focus on designing and shipping production-grade AI agents that work with live observability data, from early scoping through maintenance. The ideal candidate will partner closely with product and user feedback loops to turn prototype ideas into durable features that improve how customers understand and act on their data.

You will also help define success metrics, extend core platform capabilities, and apply strong product judgment to build useful, reliable agent experiences.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $250,000 – $280,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production-grade agents for live observability data
• Own the entire agent lifecycle from scoping to maintenance
• Build unique agents leveraging high-cardinality data capabilities
• Extend the platform with new features and capabilities based on user feedback
• Define and measure success criteria for agent performance

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in AI and agent engineering with a focus on production systems
• Proven ability to take projects from prototype to production without handoffs
• Current knowledge of recent advancements in agent design and architecture
• Deep understanding of high-cardinality data stores and their implications for agent reasoning
• Strong product judgment with the ability to prototype new features based on user needs
