Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with customer-facing software and technical direction ownership.
• Proven track record of establishing reusable agent patterns and AI solutions across teams.
• Expertise in system design, data models, and architecture with attention to performance trade-offs.
• Ability to define and enforce specification standards and review processes across teams.
• Experience in context engineering for reliable agent execution across repositories and tasks.
• Demonstrated skill in designing agent workflows for parallel execution with human checkpoints.
• Strong communication skills for synthesizing technical strategies for diverse audiences.

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Agentic Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will shape the technical direction of a product area focused on agentic software execution and the systems that support it. You will partner across multiple teams to define standards, establish safe and effective workflows, and ensure AI-driven work can be delegated, verified, and scaled with confidence. The position blends deep engineering judgment with cross-functional influence, helping the organization decide when to use agentic execution versus direct implementation. You will also play a key role in creating the architecture, review practices, and security controls needed for reliable outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation: $135,000 – $160,000 annually.
