Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II for remote US-based work, focusing on designing and delivering robust integrations that connect accounting, ERP, and AI systems. You will own end-to-end integration pipelines, improve reliability, and ensure secure, scalable data exchange across the organization.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, shape technical decisions, and raise the standard for integration best practices while operating in a data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in integrations, APIs, and data exchange systems development.
• Deep technical expertise in data-centric systems and architecture.
• Strong coding fluency in Dagster, Airbyte, or Airflow alongside Python and Rails.
• Experience with accounting systems or principles is preferred.
• High ownership mentality with a self-directed and solution-oriented approach.
• Proven ability to design scalable architectures balancing performance and cost.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will focus on designing and delivering robust integrations that connect accounting, ERP, and AI systems in a data-driven environment. The engineer will own end-to-end integration pipelines, improve reliability and observability, and help ensure secure, scalable data exchange across the organization. This position will partner closely with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues, shape technical decisions, and raise the standard for integration best practices.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually
