Job summary

Redwood Trust is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the Corporate Finance Technology organization. You will design, develop, and maintain cloud-based integrations between vendor financial platforms and enterprise systems, focusing on Python and Azure.

Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, and Finance teams to deliver automated workflows, REST API integrations, data processing, and reporting across Capital Markets, Treasury, and Financial Reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering or financial technology experience.
• Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, web services, and messaging technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Experience with ETL, data transformation, and data quality processes.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.

Senior Software Engineer – Corporate Finance Technology

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the Corporate Finance Technology organization. This role is responsible for integrating and enhancing vendor financial platforms that support Capital Markets, Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, and Financial Reporting. The successful candidate will develop cloud-based integration solutions, automate financial processes, build reporting capabilities, and improve the flow of financial data across enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate has strong Python development skills, experience with Microsoft Azure, API integration, data engineering, and financial systems integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between vendor financial platforms and enterprise systems.
• Build automated workflows to streamline financial operations, reconciliations, and reporting.

Required Qualifications

A reasonable estimate of the total compensation range for this role is $110,000.00 150,000.00. The actual salary offer will depend on job-related factors including education, geographic location, training, licensure and certification, and experience.
