Job summary

Inductive Automation, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I (Java/TypeScript) to own end-to-end development across full product lifecycles, from design through deployment and support. The role emphasizes robust architecture, scalable data handling, and cross-team collaboration in a hybrid in-office setting in the Sacramento region.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of CS concepts, OOP, multi-threading, data structures, algorithms, and cybersecurity.
• Hands-on programming in Java and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with IntelliJ or equivalent, Git, Webpack.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience ingesting data at scale.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of projects or features from design to deployment.
• Improve code structure for testability and maintainability.
• Create and review design documentation.
• Mentor engineers and perform constructive code reviews.
• Collaborate with teams to solve problems and escalate when needed.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and aligns with agile processes.
