Job summary

Inductive Automation, LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer I (Frontend) to drive frontend development for flagship products and a new product line. You will own features end-to-end, collaborate across teams, and mentor peers while delivering robust, scalable UI components.

The role supports remote, hybrid, and on-site work arrangements, with a pay range aligned to Sacramento region expectations and opportunities for career growth within a market‑leading industrial automation company.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of software engineering or software development experience, preferably in a related field.
• A comprehensive understanding of CS concepts and ability to apply expertise in object‑oriented design, multi‑threaded architecture, data structures, algorithms, and cybersecurity.
• Hands‑on programming experience using JavaScript and/or TypeScript and frameworks such as React.
• Experience using tool suites (IntelliJ or equivalent, Git, Webpack).
• Creative problem‑solving skills and passion for building user‑friendly applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working on a team using agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of projects or features from engineering design through deployment.
• Improve code structure and architecture for testability and maintainability.
• Write and review design documentation.
• Maintain high proficiency in one or more technical areas.
• Collaborate with team and adjacent teams to solve problems and escalate when necessary.
• Provide thoughtful code reviews and meet performance milestones.
• Possibly lead product areas or serve as a Scrum Master.
