Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an accomplished software developer to design and manage enterprise platforms for Process/Case/Work Management. You will join an agile team, implement high-performance services, and contribute to automation initiatives.

Responsibilities include coding, testing, API work, and adopting new technologies to improve operations. A strong background in microservices and scalable systems is expected.

Qualifications

BS/MS in computer science, computer engineering, or another technical field preferred
10+ years of software development experience
Experience in Process Management, Case Management, and Work Management is required
Hands-on experience with Java, React, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and related tech
Strong problem solving and ability to communicate complex technical concepts

Responsibilities

Design, build and manage enterprise platforms and frameworks for Process Management, Case Management, and Work Management
Design, develop, and support shared technology services used by the enterprise
Serve as a core member of an agile team and drive modern development practices
Write code and unit tests, work with API specifications and automation

• Create solutions that automate repeatable, multistep business transactions for operations teams

Requirements

Preferably a BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another technical field
10+ years of software development experience
Experience in Process Management, Case Management, and Work Management is required
Hands-on experience with some or all of: Java, React, Envoy, gRPC, JSON, CouchBase, Cassandra, Redis, Consul, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Drools, Elastic Stack, Kafka, Spark, RPA, Git, RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, Spring Boot, multithreaded programming, Maven, Gradle, and JUnit
Experience in automation, Cognitive OCR, and AI/ML driving cost savings is preferred
Ability to interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions
Willingness to learn and optimally use new technologies
Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale platforms with high resiliency, availability, and reliability
Strong experience developing high-throughput, high-performance applications
Experience with microservices architectures and service mesh technologies is preferred
