Job summary

Jobtailor in United States (Illinois) is seeking a senior software engineer to lead full‑stack development using Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices. You will own production‑grade code, design scalable architectures, and drive reliability and security best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Six to eight years of relevant experience
Strong hands‑on experience with Java Spring Boot
Experience building REST APIs and microservices from scratch
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio containerization
Some experience with Kafka open‑source streaming
Experience with PostgreSQL and Cassandra open‑source databases
ReactJS web‑development experience is good to have
Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines is good to have
Cloud infrastructure experience is good to have
