DigitalOcean is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to develop features for our distributed control plane and core infrastructure. You will build high-throughput microservices with Go, mentor engineers, and drive technical execution across design and release to power cloud compute services.

You will work on low-latency, fault-tolerant orchestration, with Kubernetes or Firecracker-based infrastructure, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and APIs.
• Experience optimizing distributed systems for low latency and high availability.
