DigitalOcean is hiring a Senior Software Engineer I to help build high-performance distributed control plane services and core infrastructure. You will lead complex projects, mentor engineers, and contribute to low-latency compute services in a hybrid environment.

You will design scalable microservice interfaces, collaborate across teams, and power the next generation of cloud compute with Go-based systems in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.

Competenze

• Experience with Go and microservices.
• Experience with distributed control plane or low-latency APIs.
• Experience with Kubernetes or Firecracker.
• Strong Linux performance tuning.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and mentor engineers.

• Design and implement high-performance distributed control plane services using Go to ensure low-latency orchestration across core compute infrastructure.
