Job summary

Aledade is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to maintain, improve, and expand our web application and data pipelines. You will craft scalable, secure, maintainable solutions that address the complex challenges in healthcare, with emphasis on observability, testing, and frequent releases.

Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to shape technical roadmaps using Agile, and mentor junior engineers while advancing AI initiatives across the platform.

Qualifications

• BS/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years building full-stack web apps in cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years with SQL on large multi-table datasets.
• 2+ years as a trusted technical decision-maker.
• 2+ years coaching other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Improve AI/ML infrastructure for model development, training, and deployment.
• Design multi-year vision for generative AI areas - text, image, multimodal, content creation.
• Architect systems to make complex data sets accessible and actionable.
• Design and implement prompt engineering strategies for generative AI.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Practices, Sales, Customer Success, and other stakeholders to identify AI use cases.
• Analyze product usage patterns and trends to forecast generative AI applications.
• Maintain security of patient health information and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Contribute to APIs and interfaces for integrating AI capabilities into healthcare systems.
