Job summary

Aledade is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to help maintain, improve, and expand our web application and data pipelines. You will focus on secure, maintainable, performant, scalable solutions while reducing risk through observability, testing, and incremental releases.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to drive technical roadmaps in an Agile environment. You will mentor peers and contribute to data-driven engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience building full-stack web applications in cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years as a trusted technical decision-maker solving for business value.
• 3+ years coaching other engineers.
• Experience with API design and development.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and secure data handling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable and performant solutions.
• Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to execute technical roadmaps using Agile.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and review pull requests.
• Contribute to API design and full-stack web development.
• Work with data ingestion systems and optimize for large-scale data processing.
