Job summary

TaxConnex, based in Alpharetta, GA, is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build scalable cloud-based solutions. The role focuses on back-end services, APIs, and data processing in PHP, Python, and AWS, with serverless components and React front-ends.

You will participate in SDLC from requirements to deployment, mentor others, and ensure code quality while solving production issues in AWS. Hybrid work enables in-office collaboration with remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2–10 years in web development; senior with 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with SDLC processes and cloud-based architectures.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Hands-on AWS experience with Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement back-end services and APIs.
• Develop front-end features in React.
• Maintain data processing pipelines in Python.
• Review code and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot production issues in AWS infrastructure.
