Job summary

Equifax in Alpharetta, GA is seeking seasoned software engineers to work on cloud-native, microservice-based architectures. This hybrid, direct-hire role requires three days onsite per week and collaboration with product, business, and sales partners.

You will mentor junior and senior engineers, drive architecture decisions, and ensure QE, DevSec, and FinOps KPIs while delivering data processing solutions with Dataflow/Apache Beam, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, GCS, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• 7+ years cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• 7+ years designing cloud-native solutions and microservices.
• 7+ years deploying with Jenkins CI/CD and IaC (Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native microservices with Java/Spring Boot on GKE.
• Lead sprint planning and team activities.
• Mentor engineers and ensure QE, DevSec, and FinOps KPIs.
• Define SLA/SLO/SLO metrics and document runbooks.
• Collaborate with product, business, and sales partners.
• Build PoCs and R&D for cloud-native solutions.
