Job summary

XPO is seeking a Senior Engineer, Software Engineering to design, develop, and optimize software solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will work across the stack, collaborating with architects, engineers, and operations to deliver robust software, while evaluating new technologies and improving processes.

The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, agile practices, and a commitment to high-quality software delivery. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of software solutions development experience in medium to large environments.
• 2 years of Android mobile development experience.
• Full stack development with at least one of C#, Xamarin/Maui, or React Native.
• Experience with SQL relational databases (Oracle).
• Experience with data marshalling, transformation, and representation formats (JSON, HTML, XML).
• Experience with REST APIs, messaging buses, and distributed data services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software following best practices and standard processes.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and operations to deploy and troubleshoot solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and coordinate deployments.
• Ensure proper functioning and performance through testing methodologies.
• Evaluate new technologies and introduce industry standards to improve solutions.
