Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable applications supporting critical operations. You will translate business needs into robust code within Agile teams and collaborate with architects, DB and infrastructure to drive optimal designs.

You will lead development, ensure quality and security, mentor engineers, and contribute to end-to-end delivery including design, documentation and go-lives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced degree preferred for senior roles.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable applications for operational systems.
• Translate business needs into robust technical solutions within Agile teams.
• Collaborate with architects, DB, and infrastructure teams to drive optimal designs.
