Job summary

Riverside Research Institute is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to high-performance, large-scale electromagnetic analysis tools. You will collaborate with physicists, RF engineers and mathematicians to translate complex models into efficient code.

The role emphasizes design, testing, code reviews and deployment in a HPC environment, with opportunities to mentor junior developers and advance software engineering practices. Travel < 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for TS/SCI security clearance and consent to CI Poly.
• Degree in Software Engineering or closely related field with software development experience.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in requirements, design, development, documentation, testing, deployment and debugging of high-performance CEM software.
• Drive software quality through design reviews, peer reviews, automated testing and CI.
• Architect and implement scalable features while modernising legacy code with best practices.
