Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in Special Programs to own features in an in-house HITL/HOOTL testing solution for flight systems.

You will design, develop, and test components for analysis, simulation, and prototyping, enabling high-assurance software across SpaceX flight systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and scale a high-performance application.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of software development experience (Python, C++, or Java).
• 3+ years building HITL/HOOTL software and test automation.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing for HITL and HOOTL software.
• Develop full-stack solutions to manage automated testing of vehicle subsystems using simulation.
• Contribute to test automation and CI/CD infrastructure.
• Maintain high standards of software quality and performance.
