Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer in Special Programs to design, develop, and test HITL software for flight systems. You will own new features in a high-performance application used to control and test spacecraft.

Experience with Python, C++, Java, and full-stack web applications is valued, along with CI/CD and test automation. Active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain is required; flexibility for extended hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or an engineering discipline.
• 1+ year of experience in software development using Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with automated testing of HITL/HOOTL software.
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing for HITL/HOOTL software.
• Develop full-stack solutions to manage automated testing of vehicle subsystems.
• Contribute to test automation and CI/CD infrastructure.
• Maintain high standards of excellence and continuous improvement.
