Job summary

Fuze Health in Milton, MA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for FuzeRx to enhance the pharmacy experience by advancing prescription processing from intake to fulfillment. You will join a team responsible for services powering the entire workflow and improve patient outcomes.

You will work with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL to design scalable, maintainable systems, while collaborating with partners and mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience in a high-volume production environment.
• Core stack includes Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in architecting complex, scalable systems for maintainability and performance.
• Strong fundamentals and experience building high-volume, resilient systems.
• Experience with predictive ML model integration (Python valued).

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescriptions for fulfillment quickly and accurately with automation and coordinated manual steps when needed.
• Enable partners (manufacturers, insurers, providers) to configure billing, benefits, and clinical workflows.
• Contribute to high-impact projects like increasing intake automation with LLMs and integrating risk scores into pre-dispense checks.
