Job summary

Fuze Health in Vermont seeks a Senior Software Engineer for FuzeRx to improve patients’ lives through a better pharmacy experience. You will join the Care Team owning services from prescription intake to fulfillment, building scalable backend systems.

You will work with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL, mentor engineers, and help design extensible platforms, driving ML initiatives and high-impact projects in a dynamic startup environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive software engineering in a high-volume, high-throughput production environment.
• Core Technologies: Deep background in Backend or Full Stack, Rails/TypeScript/PostgreSQL.
• System Design: Expertise in architecting complex systems for long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Technical Fundamentals: Strong engineering fundamentals with experience building high-volume, resilient systems.
• Quality & Best Practices: Proven track record of technical best practices, including code style, documentation, code review, bug fixing, and production issue mitigation.
• Mindset: Relentless in pursuing impact through your work.
